Cauliflower in Bechamel Sauce

Cauliflower in Bechamel Sauce Shopping List:

1 head cauliflower
Boiling water
Juice of 1 small lemon
2 cups Bechamel Sauce
½ cup grated mizithra cheese
¼ cup fresh bread crumbs
¼ teaspoon ground allspice
Salt and pepper to taste

Cauliflower in Bechamel Sauce Cooking Instructions:

1. Remove leaves from the cauliflower and cut off tough end. Soak in cold salted water for 15 minutes. Rinse and drain. Keep whole or break into flowerets.
2. Boil enough water to cover cauliflower. Add lemon juice and the cauliflower. Cook until stalks are just tender (10 to 20 minutes). Drain.
3. Place cauliflower in a baking dish. Cover with Bechamel Sauce, sprinkle with cheese, bread crumbs, allspice, salt, and pepper.
4. Bake at 375°F 20 minutes.
