Cream Cheese Cone Sandwiches

Cream Cheese Cone Sandwiches Shopping List:

9 slices bread
3 tablespoons butter, softened
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
2 teaspoons cherry jelly
Red food coloring
2 teaspoons orange marmalade
Yellow food coloring
1 teaspoon water
Green food coloring

Cream Cheese Cone Sandwiches Preparing Instructions:

1. Spread bread slices with butter; trim off crusts.
2. Roll to form cones and fasten with wooden picks.
3. Place on baking sheet and toast in 400° F. oven about 10 minutes.
4. Remove wooden picks.
5. Divide cream cheese into 3 parts.
6. To one part, add cherry jelly and red coloring to give a light pink shade.
7. To second part, add marmalade and enough yellow col­oring to give an orange-yellow shade.
8. To third part, add water and green coloring.
9. Using a pastry tube, swirl each color into 3 of the cones.
