1/3 cup cider vinegar
2 1/2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 can (16 ounces) diagonally sliced green beans, drained
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
6 tomato shells, chilled
1 tablespoon basil, crushed
1. Pour a mixture of the vinegar, brown sugar, and salt over the beans and onion in a bowl; toss lightly. Set in refrigerator to marinate 1 hour, tossing occasionally.
2. Sprinkle the inside of each tomato shell with crushed basil and salt. Spoon beans equally into tomato shells. Garnish with crisp bacon curls.
