Deep Fried Zucchini

Deep Fried Zucchini Shopping List:

1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
2 eggs, well beaten
¾ cup milk
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
Oil for deep frying
6 medium (about 2 pounds) zucchini, cut in halves crosswise and into 3 ¼-inch sticks lengthwise

Deep Fried Zucchini Preparation Instructions:

1. Blend flour , salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add a mixture of eggs, milk , Worcestershire sauce , and butter; beat just until smooth.
2. Heat oil in a fondue pot or a deep fryer to 365°F.
3. Dip zucchini sticks into batter, using a fork to coat evenly. Allow any excess coating to drip off.
4. Fry 2 to 3 minutes , or until golden brown. Lift from oil and drain a few seconds before removing to absorbent paper.
5. Sprinkle with salt.
