Eggnog Fondue

Eggnog Fondue Shopping List:

2 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons sugar or honey
¼ teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons arrowroot
3 tablespoons dark rum Nutmeg
Fruitcake, cut into ¾-inch pieces

Eggnog Fondue Preparation Instructions:

1. Beat together eggs, sugar, and salt. Stir in milk and vanilla extract.
2. Pour eggnog into a nonmetal fondue pot. Mix arrowroot with 1 tablespoon rum and stir into the eggnog.
3. Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens, stirring occasionally. Stir in remaining rum.
4. Keep fondue warm while dipping fruitcake pieces.
