Creamy Corn Dip

Creamy Corn Dip Shopping List:

2 tablespooons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons finely chopped green pepper
¼ cup flour
¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 ½ cups chicken broth (dissolve 1 chicken bouillon cube in 1 ½ cups boiling water)
4 ounces Swiss cheese, shredded (about 1 cup)
1 can (8 ounces) cream-style corn
4 drops Tabasco Party rye bread, buttered and toasted, or crusty rrench bread cubes

Creamy Corn Dip Preparation Instructions:

1. Heat butter in cooking pan of a chafing dish over medium heat. Add green pepper and cook until just tender, occa­sionally moving and turning with a spoon. Blend in flour, salt, and cayenne. Heat until mixture bubbles, stirring constantly.
2. Blend in chicken broth, cooking and stirring until sauce thickens.
3. Remove from heat. Add cheese all at one time, stirring until cheese is melted. Stir in corn and Tabasco.
4. Keep warm over hot water while serving.
