Poached Eggs Preparation Instructions:
1. Grease bottom of a deep skillet. Pour in water to a depth of 2 inches. Bring water to boiling; reduce heat to keep water at simmering point.
2. Break each egg into a saucer or small dish and quickly slip into water, holding the saucer close to the surface of the water. Cook 3 to 5 minutes, depending upon firmness desired.
3. Carefully remove egg with a slotted spoon or pancake turner. Drain by holding spoon on absorbent paper for a few seconds.
4. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
