2 cups chopped sweet Spanish onion (1 large)
1/2 green pepper, diced
3 tablespoons diced pimento
1/2 cup vinegar
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons caraway seed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1. Combine onion with green pepper and pimento.
2. Combine vinegar, water, sugar, caraway seed, and salt. Bring to boiling and simmer 5 minutes. Pour over onion mixture. Refrigerate several hours.
3. Serve with grilled or broiled hamburgers.
