Marinated Mushrooms Shopping List:
1 pound small fresh mushrooms
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup beer
¼ cup minced green onion with tops
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1 large gar! ic clove, minced
½ teaspoon salt
Dash pepper
Marinated Mushrooms Preparing Instructions:
1. Wash mushrooms, remove stems, and pat dry. Reserve stems for later use.
2. Combine remaining ingredients in a shallow glass or ceramic dish. Add mushrooms. Cover and let stand at room temperature about 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
3. Place mushrooms, cup side up, on a broiler pan. Spoon some marinade over each. Broil 3 inches from heat about 2 minutes, or until lightly browned. Serve warm with picks.
Marinated Mushrooms Recipe: 40 TO 50 MUSHROOMS
Note: Marinated Mushrooms may also be served cold. Marinate in refrigerator. Do not broil. Turn into a serving bowl with marinade; serve with picks. Canned button mushrooms may also be used when serving this dish cold.
