Feta Cheese Triangles

Feta Cheese Triangles Shopping List:

1 pound feta cheese, crumbled
2 egg yolks
1 whole egg
3 tablespoons chopped parsley
Dash finely ground pepper
¾ pound butter, melted and kept warm
1 pound filo

Feta Cheese Triangles Preparing Instructions:

1. Mash feta cheese with a fork. Add egg yolks, egg, parsley, and pepper.
2. Melt butter in a saucepan. Keep warm, but do not allow to brown.
3. Lay a sheet of filo on a large cutting board. Brush with melted butter. Cut into strips about 1 ½ to 2 inches wide. Place ½ teaspoon of the cheese mixture on each strip about 1 inch from base. Fold to form a triangle. Continue until all cheese mixture and filo have been used.
4. Place triangles, side by side, in a shallow roasting pan or baking sheet.
5. Bake at 350° F about 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve at once.

Feta Cheese Triangles Recipe: ABOUT 100 PIECES

Note: Feta Cheese Triangles freeze well. Before serving, remove from freezer and let stand 15 to 20 minutes. Bake at 325° F until golden brown.
