Cheese Rabbit Fondue Shopping List:
1 small clove garlic
2 cups beer
1 pound sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded (about 4 cups)
3 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon dry mustard 2 tablespoons chopped chives or green onion top (optional)
1 loaf sourdough French bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
Cheese Rabbit Fondue Preparation Instructions:
1. Rub inside of a nonmetal fondue pot with garlic; discard garlic. Heat beer in the pot until almost boiling.
2. Dredge cheese in flour and add about ½ cup at a time, stirring until cheese is melted and blended before adding more.
3. When mixture is smooth and thickened, stir in Worcestershire sauce and dry mustard.
4. Sprinkle chives on top and serve with bread cubes. Keep fondue warm while serving.
