Buttermilk Fondue Shopping List:
1 pound Swiss cheese, shredded (about 4 cups)
3 tablespoons cornstarch
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon white pepper
¼ teaspoon dry mustard 2 cups buttermilk
1 clove garlic, split in half 1 loaf dark rye bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
Buttermilk Fondue Preparation Instructions:
1. Toss cheese with a mixture of cornstarch, salt, pepper, and dry mustard. Set aside.
2. In a fondue saucepan, heat buttermilk with garlic over low heat. When hot, remove garlic and add cheese; stir constantly until cheese is melted.
